The Society of the Holy Child Jesus is an international community of five hundred Roman Catholic sisters living in the United States, Europe, South America and Africa. The lives and works of the sisters in these parts of the world are a contemporary expression of the Incarnational vision of Cornelia Connelly, the Society's foundress. As Sisters of the Holy Child we express our belief that God lives and acts in us and through us in the world by offering a broad range of services and ministries in the diverse cultures in which we live. We are joined in this belief by many women and men, some of whom have chosen a more formal relationship as Associates.
Though spread across four continents and three provinces, our unity in diversity of members and ministries is fostered especially by the service of leadership. Wherever we are, Holy Child sisters serve as members of one international body animated by a common spirit and committed to living the gospel of Jesus Christ.
